May 12th Luncheon Meeting- Eastern Jackson County Economic Development Panel featuring Jim Devine of Lee's Summit, Brien Starner of Blue Springs, Tom Lesnak of Independence and Kim Curtis of Grandview. Location at the NEW Independence Events Center, 19100 East Valley Parkway, Independence, MO 64055. Event 2 if purchased separately $20 per person, includes box lunch.

June 9th Luncheon Meeting- Kansas City, Missouri's New Development Code featuring James C. Bowers, Jr. who speak about the new code which goes in effect June 1, 2010. Location at Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbeque (Freight House District), 101 W 22nd Street, Kansas City, MO 64108. Event 3 if purchased separately $30 per person for buffet lunch.

July 14 Luncheon Meeting- Johnson County Transit featuring Phil Detrixhe, Marketing Manager for Johnson County Transit. He will speak about the transit's services and strategic plan for future development. Location at Wil Jenny's, 135th & Metcalf, 6700 W 135th Street, Overland Park, KS 66223. September 8 Luncheon Meeting- Is this the recovery I've heard so much about? Featuring Dr. Chris Kuehl, Economist and regular business analyst for KMBZ radio and KSHB-TV.
